The Gongter Abhishekas Begin!

Today, His Eminence Namkha Drimed Rinpoche bestows the empowerments and transmissions for the complete collection of his gongter, or mind treasures, on the Kongma Sakyong Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche at Rigon Tashi Choeling in Pharpeng, Nepal. This is a momentous occasion for the both the Shambhala and Ripa communities. For Shambhala, it is the time that the profound treasury of Namkha Drimed Rinpoche’s trove of termas are given to the Kongma Sakyong, thus enabling these teachings—a majority of which concern Gesar of Ling—to fully arrive in Shambhala. The Sakyong Wangmo along with Jetsun Drukmo, Jetsun Yudra, and Jetsun Dzedrön are also attending these important teachings and transmissions, enabling these precious termas to be carried forward into the next generations.
